I’m am sad to report that Electronic Gaming Monthly is now deaced. According to the current news story on 1up.com the site has been bought by UGO. As a long time reader of EGM this news saddened me A LOT. I literaly shed a tear.

It is sad to see these people go but the fun times they have brought us videogame geeks will not be forgoten.

It's always a shame that when a company merges or is bought out, one of the first things that tends to go are the talented men and women that made the organization so desirable in the first place.
I'm sure that these gifted individuals will land on their feet, but it still stings to know that they weren't appreciated by their appropriators.
On a different note, I had no idea you wrote a blog man. I'll be sure to bookmark your site as soon as I get home. :)
